After the Blackout is a play about what happens Afterwards; we are fearful at first, but we soon find other sources of power, and new life in all it’s myriad forms is conceived. The past, present and future are one in this play, as they are in our thoughts which are all that is left when we cannot see, hear, speak, or touch. It is only when we are disconnected from distraction that those “crash and burn” moments that changed the course of our lives float up to our consciousness, and present themselves to be examined, allowing us to understand ourselves and the world we live in.
